London, Oct. 03, 2019 – ONVU Retail, the leading provider of 360-degree video capture and business intelligence technology, announced today it has been honoured with the “Most Innovative Cross Functional Solution” award as part of Retail Risks’ Fraud Awards 2019.
Each year, the Retail Fraud Awards highlight advanced technologies, solutions, teams and services designed to reduce retail fraud and enhance loss prevention efforts.
In the most innovative cross functional solution category, the judges look for a security product, solution or service that also has a function or benefit extending beyond loss prevention.
ONVU Retail was specifically awarded for its Customer Behaviour Analysis of Next Plc Online In-Store Parcel Pickups. ONVU Retail’s team of customer behaviour specialists undertook a comprehensive study of a group of stores with a variety of collection layouts and using the tools built into the solution, they studied the behaviour of customers that picked up online parcels and looked at ways in which Next could optimise their visits.
The team presented results, recommendations and video evidence collected with the 360-degree cameras that are part of the ONVU Retail solution, and gave Next an insight into the buying behaviour of online collection customers during their store visit to help improve conversion and to ensure that a retail store’s operations don’t become obstructed or interrupted by multiple collection customers at the till banks.
